SharePoint is a platform for digital collaboration from Microsoft. SharePoint was launched in 2001 as a product to run on local servers. Since 2010, SharePoint can be rented as an online service: "SharePoint Online", a part of Office 365. Office 365 can be described as a collection of various business services for hire, e.g. Exchange, Skype, SharePoint.
MidrocOnline is an adaptation of SharePoint Online to fit established practices at Midroc. In MidrocOnline a project room can be created and this “room” is a place on the Web for cooperation with e.g. storage space for files, lists, planning through project calendar, communication via chat/forums and other so-called "Apps".
Access
In order to work in a project room, each user must create a Microsoft ID, (not if your company is already connected to Office 365). To create an ID please follow the instructions below: It is recommended that you use the email address used for your contacts with Midroc. Note that you do not have to fill in your telephone number to create a Microsoft ID. Click on the link below to create an ID:
Project members are invited to a project room by the room´s owner.
When you have created an ID, use the link in the invitation mail to go to the project room.

Project room
Once in the project room, we recommend you to create a ”favorite” link to facilitate access. This can be done by e.g. clicking the icon in the top left corner of your web browser.
For further guidance regarding the project room, please contact the project manager or the owner of the project room.

Kalle, ska vi ha med texten om att man kan synka ner biblioteket? Eller ska vi skriva något ytterligare om att synken inte är bra på flera sätt. Jag tänker att denna guide är ganska riktad till personer som inte ingår i Midroc.
